Ecowitt & Ambient stations: upload to SensorMap from the console

No computer, no soldering — one settings screen and your weather station joins a live community map.

Where the setting lives

In the Ecowitt app (or WS View Plus): your device → ⋯ More → Customized (sometimes "Custom Server"). Enter these values:

Protocol: Ecowitt
Server IP / Hostname: www.sensormap.cloud
Path: /ecowitt/YOUR-DEVICE-KEY
Port: 80 (443 if your console offers HTTPS)
Upload Interval: 60 seconds

Your personal device key comes from sensormap.cloud → My Devices → + Add device → ⚙ Manage — the Ecowitt panel there shows this exact screen pre-filled with your key, ready to copy.

What uploads

Temperature, humidity, pressure, wind (with gusts and direction), rain and rain rate, UV and solar — plus PM2.5, CO₂, soil moisture and lightning if you have those Ecowitt sensors. Indoor-console readings are ignored on purpose. Works with GW1000/GW1100/GW2000 gateways, WS-series consoles, and Ambient/Wunderground-protocol clones (put the key in the password field).
